When I built the fuselage and tail of mine I built the elevator horn and push rod to stay inside the fuselage. Was not really hard just stiffen the elevator joiner and install a music wire horn in...

I did mine like Bill described by looping the string down the jig and putting the paper under (I used silkspan), then dope it all down worked great but was hard to cut with any accuracy. I tried all...

Les I use that system alot. Here is a couple of ideas, make up some wheel chocks to keep things from moving around. The best ones I found hold the axles up so you do not get flat spots on soft tires....

Nelson hobby paint is still available it is a very tough acrylic urethane (water based) paint. A lot of people have used it on competition aircraft and have been very satisfied. Alot of colors...

I purchased the CD from Hank. It has a complete walk around with alot of closeups to show detail. Well worth the few dollars he wants for it.

Fibertech has the correct cowl for a YMF with a Jacobs engine, they are evenly spaced blisters. The other company has the UMF cowl with paired blisters. There is some confusion here as the Waco kit...

Try using a wieghted spinner nut, placing the wieght as far forward as possible, means less wieght overall. By using a Harry Higley wieghted spinner nut I only needed 2 more ounces on the firewall on...

Check the scalemasters site for a guide line it is in the PDF fliles on competition guide. For scale contest the plane type UPF, YMF etc. Needs to match the plane you are modeling otherwise you will...
