RE: Top Flite '.60 size' P-51D Mustang ARF: Building & Modifications

Hey guys. What size LIFE batteries are you running for the RX? I have electric retracts but will set them up using an isolated battery so the LIFE would only be powering 7 servos. Using a Powerbox...

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

Thanks for that ahicks, I understand where you are coming from. The idle 'hang' and step are actually two different things here. I was initially thinking they were one and the same.

Cheers

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

Thanks! Will check it out. Are the arms on the supplied hall sensor long enough to set it at 28 - 30'?

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

So I could basically switch to a RCEXEL ignition and leave my timing as factory at 35'? Will this do away with the weird throttle step and hang before idle?

Thanks
Wes

RE: Top Flite '.60 size' P-51D Mustang ARF: Building & Modifications

The siphoning I mean is when the fuel runs out the vent line straight from the tank. I see its recommended to coil the vent line tubing at the top of the tank.

RE: Top Flite '.60 size' P-51D Mustang ARF: Building & Modifications

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

I had to reset mine as my first hall sensor packed up so I had to replace it. I set it to the recommended setting in the manual, which is 38 - 40' BTDC. Is this not correct?

Hi guys. I would like to swap out my ignition on my DLE20 (#4) with the standard one from RCEXL. Don't want to fly my warbird with that throttle step and can't seem to tune around it successfully. My...

RE: NEW DLE 20cc Gasser! (Data & Links 1st Post)

Highly possible actually as I had to lengthen the filling tube by adding another piece of tubing by using a metal joiner used for filling applications which came with my hand pump. etc. I doubt this...
