RE: Current draw on a stock styker?

It sounds like your charger is false-peaking. I haven't timed my charger, but it seems like it takes approx 15-20 minutes to charge at 1A.

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

Thanks Guys!

I got the front/back balanced pretty well. But I may have to change that as I don't have the rubberband in the nose yet. I just have to get the left/right balanced. I also had...

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

Quick question: I got a stock stryker with the P51 ESC/Rx and I'm not sure which servo goes to which plug, so I got a question. When you bring the stick to the right, which wing (from behind) goes...

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

You can also use blue threadlock to help keep the set screw in. Don't use the red locktite unless you like applying heat to loosen. :)

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

What size batteries are people using for NiMH? Could you also add a link/name to the pack from CheapBatteryPacks.com?

Thanks!

BTW, just picked up my Stryker from the post office this...

Edited to add:
Never mind, figured out that the B forum was the Badius forum.

RE: F27 STRYKER,WAY PAST THE LIMITS! Part 3

Well, just thought that I would send a short into while I'm waiting for my Stryker. I just won an auction on eBay for a Stryker that was returned to the hobby shop for bad esc/tx/rx/something, the...

RE: Mayhem RTR vs Storm RTR, Which one for first buggy?

My answer is the Storm Plus RTR. The Storm Plus comes with a lot of the normal hop-ups. Plus its $150 less than the Mayhem. The Mayhem looks like a great buggy, but it still has the weak shock...

RE: OS vs Picco vs Team Orion?????

You can't really compare the OS 21 RG to the other motors. It's outclassed by pure size. Check out the Dynamite Mach 26. It's a great motor for less than $140.

RE: Tire Selection

My suggestion would be to use Panther Komodo tires. I run Komodo I in the back and Komodo II in the front.

Although, Proline Crimefighters or Mugshots wouldn't be too bad either. Don't know...

RE: Piston re-sizing tool?

One of the guys at the track had his sleeve squeezed this last spring with something like this. It brought the motor back to life and he is still running the same setup.

RE: i need new tires!!!!

I will second the Panther Komodos. I run the Komodo in the back and the Komodo II upfront. Having the IIs up front gives a little better steering, IMHO. I absolutely love 'em.

RE: GS Storm vs HB Lightning 2rr

Coming from another Storm owner, neither. IMHO, the Storm is a great buggy, but it is old technology. It is like racing a JRXT against a XXX-T. I've only broken two arms on a used storm (different...

RE: Starter Box Kits

I've seen a guy start 1/10 Gas Truck that way, a donut on a plane starting motor.

RE: OS or Picco Motor

OS RG, two buddies have had them in their Storms and they were quite impressed. The OS RG will be in my storm when and if the stock motor goes.

RE: starter boxes

Get the blue ofna chrome top. Comes with a 12v motor. Supposed to be better than the twin 550s, but I don't know. But the blue ofna chrome top has served me and others at my track well. Model...

RE: hobbies shop in tacoma

Fantasy World Hobbies? They are just south of the mall, just off I-5. South of Hooters and on the other side of the highway.

Tacoma RC Raceway - do a search for them, hard to describe, but...

RE: mini t big block motor

Did you just install capacitors with your new motor? Capacitors reduce the amount of interference. You usually add three to a motor, pos to can, neg to can, and pos to neg. Correctly installed...

RE: good tires?

On a loamy track, I would recommend the Panther Komodo in the rear and the Komodo II in the front.

But since he is mainly bashing with a little track time, I would recommend Knuckles in a...

RE: are panther meat grinders any good?

Don't have the meat grinders. But I do have the Komodo I and the Komodo II on my 1/8 Buggy. The Komodo I is in the back and the II is in the front. I absolutely love them. They feel much better...

RE: air filter oil

My suggestion is to go to a motorcycle shop and buy a bottle of their air filter oil. You get a lot more oil for the same price.
