I got tired of waiting for the DB spinner to be back in stock,that’s the reason I tried the eBay carbon spinner,it did take about 3 weeks to get here 🤨 lucky worked out and looks good.

Had a few more flights on the spitfire, looks good on the air.
I decided to get rid of the gloss finish on the carbon spinner,
the flat finish looks a lot better, left the back plate glossy.

I was thinking some white paint but I’m using a Biela white prop, maybe if I change to a black
prop the white spinner will work, pretty happy with the spinner profile.

Im using an OS 91 pumped so I dont have any trouble whit flooding, I use max flaps and mix in ailerons down, I also have crow mix for a quiker sink rate, as you can see in the video it floats :)...

If you are learning then there is no need to run @2000 head speed, keep that pinion and head speed @1950, that will keep the motor happy also using 600mm the engine wont bog as much. I think is too...

I use fromeco regulator and fromeco 2cell 2400. Since you are using a 9254 you need to keep the regulator output to 5.4 volts, or you can go whit an Arizona regulator which it has duel outputs 6v...

Here a is a pic of the tail set up, this was installed wrong, the triangle pasltic part goes on the leading edge of the rudder and the
wheel should be back more so the springs go forward...
