hmmm longer dog bones by 1/4" try tamya dog bones from the 1/10th scale trucks. the ones I have from the blackfoot are about that much longer.

do you have an IR temp gun or a digitail instant read thermometer? that is how I tune depending on weather and such I prefer 30%nitro 14%oil it is pretty easy to tune but really messy. 20%nitro 10%...

My plan with the casting of the pinion is to sell the extra's maybe on ebay or some where I have nothing but time and as time goes by these parts will be harder and harder to get.

Well the caster got back to me today I need to mail him the pinion gear and he is gonna make a test piece. if all goes well should have that in a month. not sure on price yet but if the bronze cast...
