Gryphon ~ ESCis a Castle Creations Ice100, battery is Polyquest 4S 4400mAh and was at about 75-80%charge during the runs, 14.6 volts under ~80A load. I do have a steeper prop to try (APC 6.5 x 6.5)...

Finally got back to the field today. I did end up moving the CG forward about 1/4 inch (not much but Ifigured a little more forward couldn't hurt) and got the mount squared away with even foam crush....

I haven't had a chance to fly it again... yet. The last landing was on a road (bad news) but missed the 2 foot deep 15 foot wide water filled sough (good news!) Unfortunetly I stripped the plastic...

Perfect! Thanks Mopar, Iwas trying to not crush the foam when mounting. I'll go back and "put the screws to it" and give that a shot after fixing my damaged servo.

Gryphon, Nice catch, I guess I got tunnel visioned on my search criteria and missed the battery he was talking about earlier in the post.  Nice to know the prop will still work though for shake down.

The recomendation for the 7x3 prop was made by moparmyway in post #540. I'm not sure if he was talking about inflight draw or not, I'm guessing he was based on context.

Overheating shouldn't be...
