Yeah, I agree. Probably is repairable as the fuse was pretty much intact. However, the owner of the plane was hoping to just buy a replacement than repair it.

The Zero Gator sells is not the CMP one. It's the TopModelRC version which is larger and costs about twice as much... Though is probably better design.

Giant Scale P51 One-Wheel Landing

Check out this beautiful GS P51 landing with just one wheel. The video doesn't show one wheel popping off right after take off.

The pilot did a great job on landing it... She'll live to fly...

Yeah. I'd have to agree with you. It seems from other pics I've seen of the LA-7, the spinner had a slightly more rounded/blunt tip.

But, that is not the main concern with the composite version....
