Update: I think I am getting there... Put a Type F plug in, and ran it.. It died.. Leaned it to a just solid 2 cycle, and ran a full tank thru it at 3/4 - full throttle, varying it it every minute or...

Here is my troubleshooting so far..

I am using medium fuel lines. I thought that since it also dies about 1/2 throttle, that should eliminate that. I will pull the tank, and check it all for...

That makes me feel better. I guess I should have read the manual.. I just lifted it by the wing tube. I hope to get it finished this weekend. It is interesting that it flys better with the cowl off....

I flew it 3 times, probably 10 landings. Only bounced...

I called Gary at Perry, He was very nice, and after a couple questions, said "no problem, I'll send you a new one"..He said it sounded like a leak. Got the new one today, hope to get it running this...

Background... OS-160FX, Slimline Pitts Muffler w/straight pipes (no rolled ends). Very wide adjustment range. Constant dead sticks, poor run around mid range, got hot died.

The 4*60 is a very easy plane to fly, and land. It is an excellent 2nd plane. If I could figure out how to add an image, I'd post a pic of mine..
