RE: Recommend a chopper

Go with a 450 size. I have experience with the Dynam E-Razor 450, the HobbyKing 450GT and the Esky Belt CP. The Dynam and the HK450 are my favorites. The Dynam came pretty much prebuilt receiver...

RE: piece together vs. ready to fly heli's

Got an E-Razor 450, bought the receiver ready version for $137 (metal version). Use my Spektrum DX6i Tx and a HK park flier Rx. It flies very well and depending on how you set up the radio is very...

RE: piece together vs. ready to fly heli's

Build it, you will be happier in the long run and spend less money. The HK is a good kit. I have a Belt CP RTF and have ended up ripping out the radio and 3 of the servos and replacing them. It was a...

RE: Crashed E-Razor 450

I feel your pain. I replaced my feathering shaft, but still had too much vibration so I am waiting on a main shaft. It apparently does not take much to bend the feathering shaft or the main shaft. I...

RE: The Dynam bit the dirt last night

I looks like I may have pushed a battery too far or had an ESC overheat due to extended hover time with the canopy on. Something I will be looking out for in the future.

RE: Choosing a 450 sized heli from hobbyking

You have probably ordered one by now. I have the HK450GT, just finished it and did test flight Sunday 3/13311. Flies very well, smooth and quiet. I basically ordered most of the stuff recommended by...

RE: good heli for the money??

I have the Dynam 450, HK450Gt and Belt CP. The HK450 and Dynam 450 are the easiest to fly and parts are cheap. Get yourself a good Radio that is programable. I will add that I have some Exceed helis...

RE: opinion on electric heli

The Walkera V200V02 is a good beginner heli it's fixed pitch, 3axis gyro, ready to fly for about $130. If you want something a bit more agile the V200V01 is a step up with better Tx and CP tail...

RE: walkera recomendation

You may want to give the CB180D or CB180Q a try. I have found the Q will take a lot of punishment and still fly. It is stable has a fair headlock gyro so you are not fighting the tail. Comes with a...

RE: New CB180Z

Got a new 180Z (Wind Rider) fromwowhobbiesa week ago. First try was in the garage indoors. I have been playing around with a 180Q. What a difference. This thing was powerful and very touchy (quick)....

RE: Walkera #52 batteries and charger

The charger you got with the helicopter is a balanced charger and uses the white charging plug on the OEM battery. That means it charges each cell individually. You can charge the new batteries but...
