I have been working on the DFS, built the wing out of foam ( 80" rescaled )....

You may want to do a search for Taubman Plans. they hand several type of Submarines. Scale may be small but just enlarge then at a local print or Kinko's

I have seen Paddle - Boogie boards at Walmart or Big Lots for 1.99( 17" length). Just need to add shallow triangular fins on the bottom to stablize it and fiberglass the whole board.

As the water rudder goes, make 1/8"-1/2" fins (long trianglar shape) running down the bottom of the boat to stabilize it- start small in front 1/8 and get to 1/2 in the back...

The Motor is a hot wound 380. As far as power, It puts out 12 oz of thrust with a 10 cell pack since you have the fan already just pick up a Combo deal from Todd's models. I have burnt out...

Try using a Wattage Power fan or GWS EDF-75, then get a Himax 2025-4200 W/ 25 amp ESC (Adapter ring need ). Will run on 8- 10 cells or 3 Lipo's
