RE: Could I plug this into my receiver?

You "could," but that would depend on if you have a 3rd (open) port on your receiver - and chances are you stock receiver doesn't. But you could obtain a "Y-harness," and plug it into your servo port...

RE: Traction Help

Traction comes down to two things - tires and set-up.

RE: is all 10 AWG wire the same?

Not true - cheaper copper stranded wire, like is sold in Home Depot, has roughly double the electrical resistance than the mutli-stranded silver wire you get through fine electronics stores and hobby...

RE: Finally moving to a 2.4 radio

You're in way over your head here Junkie, trying to rationally discuss something with a crowd that is clueless about radios and transmission strength.
The only REALreason they're so hip on these...

RE: My MERV is full of mud...

Being as you're so young you apparently have no idea what things "used to" cost back in the day - when the older generation was your age, and made way less money than you do know.
Car kits cost...

RE: OFFICIAL 1/18 VENDETTA TC THREAD!!!

I don't have any of the alloy bits on my ST, to save weight. The best thing I did for my ST was to do the "extended chassis mod," using the chassis and driveshaft off the SC. Much more stable.

But...

RE: Finally moving to a 2.4 radio

It's not funny, because we'd know that the rest of the working guts of the radio would be of better quality.
I mean, do you honestly think you can compare what's inside a $20 2.4g transmitter to...

RE: Finally moving to a 2.4 radio

Maybe you misunderstood - but the point being that any of use that have bought an RTR in recent years that comes with the included cheap/kit radio, like the Losi DSM models, know what they feel like....

RE: Losi 1/36 DT or Losi 1/24 SCT

I saw that Hot Racing has started making some cool alloy bits - suspension arms, shocks, shocktowers, steering knuckles, etc., and there's probably more on the way from other sources.

RE: Best day to take an R/C to a skatepark?

Would you guys give it a rest?
The OPand myself already sorted it all out, days ago. You're now just dragging up an old/dead thread - apparently - just for the sake of arguing.

Trust me, I was...

RE: Finally moving to a 2.4 radio

It's a shame that some of them are so ignorant and inexperienced they can't even recognize cheap junk when they see/feel it.
They think 2.4g has somehow drasitically changed things, like it makes...

RE: Finally moving to a 2.4 radio

Woo-hoo, it's a CHEAP, POS, controller - meanwhile you're the jerk bashing around with savages and slashes, that I bet your mommy bought for you.
Grow up, you jerk.

RE: OFFICIAL 1/18 VENDETTA TC THREAD!!!

The use of 12mm hexes on the larger STallows youto choose from a lot of 1/10th TCstyle rime and tire options.
But they made a good move to use the same mounting as the RC18R, because we can use all...

RE: Finally moving to a 2.4 radio

Because we've tried cheap controllers like that, and know the difference - in feel, controllability, precision, etc. - because we've used quality units.
Just because you can't tell the difference...

Well of course walmart cars don't cut it, but, again, neither does anything else if someone thinks all you can do is run these cars and put them away wet or full of mud. And that's typically what...

RE: The Evader Coalition ~ T.E.C.

Or when they're apparently puzzledabout breaking plastic parts...
