Hi all , just weighed this baby and was suprised that it is only 1.7kgs
Using the gutted stock muffler saved some i think.
The recommended US35 for my application comes in at 2.06 kg.

Hi all stock muffler finally done. Pipe brazed in place and old outlets blocked off.
Ended up taking a while but cost me next to nothing.:D
Next step standoffs and prop hub.

Just ripped out old and screwed in new one. Solder had stuck real good[:@]

Hi all been a bit quiet on the poulan front:D
Here is my modified stock muffler 15.7mm i/d pipe.
Will suck it and see.
Cut neat hole in muffler ,slid pipe in with side cut out and screwed to...

Yes Roby, T/F do recommend std servo's for flaps.
They would know if they are up to it surely ??:eek:
The NiMh sounds like the way to go........

i see they don't make Hitec 605's anymore :eek:
Have done a bit of research and come up with some:
Futaba S3010 Standard High-Torque Servo . 72oz torque @ 4.8 v.
Will use these for everything...

Two 12mm pipes on the std unit.
[that didn't take long] ha ha lol
Will take another pic on plan for you wildo to get prop hub dimensions,etc

Depends on the size of the pipe though,If we have enough room to clear plug etc. out top right side
Av8tors two 12mm pipes is the only size we have too work too at moment....

Just another idea to run past you people on the muffler question:
On modding the stock unit.Twin pipes a problem because of plug and lead.
Depth problem because of proximity to...

hI all , new to all this. :eek:
was working on the final outlet size's 196mm2 as stock.
thought that with no baffles and same outlet this would be about correct ??
Do we make the outlet alot...
