RE: Brushless motor questions...

Ah I see. That's a lot simpler than I thought. lol Even a 45:1 gear reduction will be challenging enough. I will go ahead and get the lower kv motor option. Thanks for the help!

Hi thanks for the feedback. While I waited for a response I found the Mongoose Micro 1/18 BL System 8.5T (9000kv). It's cheaper than the CC options and it has a robot mode which has the symmetrical...

CX3 battery slide COG shift...

I was wondering if anyone has used a servo on channel 5 to slide the battery forward for increased speed? I'm thinking of trying it on my CX3. It's got all aluminujm parts in the drivetrain. A red...

RE: MCX or MCX2??

My personal preference is the MCX. I have two of the MCX's and two of the MCX2's and I think the MCX flies much much better! I have one of the original yellow MCX's and one that was converted to the...

RE: mCX first outdoor flight!

I know the original lubricant is an oil, not graphite. Either would probably work, but would like to stick with what the factory uses. Where would someone find thin machine oil? Any mfg info? I don't...

RE: blade mcx getting a little squirrely!!!

Define "glitching"...

I have been flying my mCX's for a few months with no issues. I have not heard of any trends as far as problems go. I love my mSR.

RE: Flew my MSR for the firt time... Gaaa!

Hard to say... It would be easier to learn the MSR after flying the MCX's. But I enjoy flying my MCX and MCX2 a lot. But if money is tight I suppose just getting the MSR would be ok.

RE: Flew my MSR for the firt time... Gaaa!

Hahaha I got it!!! :D

Two things...

I changed the throws from 60% throw and 15% exponential to 75% throw and 25% exp.

My flight attempts were in a 10' x 12' x 8' room. I went to a...

Does ch5 effect throw on MCXx / DX6i?

I read in the MSR manual that the 5-in-1 board uses ch5 to limit throw. The manual could have added a little more details on this... I'm using DX6i with dual rates. I had the gear switch in the 0...
