If I were the phone rep at Chief, I would have sent out another wheel, N/C, all the while shaking my head at the incredible gall of some customers and their inability to accept the consequences of...

RE: Washout

Washout means that the angle of attack at the wing tip is less than at the root. Thus the wing from root to tip has a twist, just as if you held a ruler at each end and twisted it in opposite...

Litho plate

I too have kicked this idea around in my head. I'm sure you have given it much thought (e.g. weight and durability). I would think that from an ease of application standpoint, litho plate would be...

Thrust

I would think you would also have to factor in other variables such as:

Temperature
Relative Humidity
Altitude

You could look at some Aerodynamics sites, but I doubt you will find the Formula...

RCU needs something, It seems as its starting to get boring.

Sounds like a narrow-minded old elementary school teacher I once had. She believed the school day should not be interrupted with distracting and useless activities such as recess.

Have fun.... if...

Control Rod Question

Auto parts stores sell windshield washer tubing which a 4-40 rod is almost snug inside. A 2-56 rod might be better depending on the tubing you find. It is not very rigid though so you will have to...

How are die-crushing dies made?

Here is a pic I found on the web. Not good quality, but you'll get the idea.

This is a steel rule die. Steel rules (the upright, on edge, metal strips) are affixed to a heavy sheet of plywood in...

Help Id This Plane Please !!! Someone

I believe it is a 152..... engine cowl doesn't appear to be long enough to be a 172 or 182. Really bad angle to tell from.

The rear window looks right for a 152 as well.

Say you...
