RE: Aluminun steering hubs worth it on my Tornado S30?

i have tried all sorts of aluminum parts on all of my vehicles, they aren't worth the extra money, they have a tendancy to make other parts break, or they bend out of shape if they get hit hard...

RE: You've got to be kidding me!!!

to me its the constantly tinkering, tearing apart, rebuilding, fine tuning that makes the sport enjoyable, and as for the fuel price, i go through a gallon maybe every two months between my cars, and...

RE: You've got to be kidding me!!!

if you are honestly looking for longer run times i would have purchased a nitro engine because you can keep running as long as you have fuel, i have a volcano s30 a tornado s30 and a monsoon xtr, and...

RE: Suggestions.

i completely agree with dads, i have used aluminum parts in the past and they get messed up a lot easier than plastic parts, like he said they are for show!

RE: Installation of new C-carriers, Drive cups

Dad's in my opinion i would never use aluminum parts, the just bend, plastic is cheaper, if they break they are cheaper to replace

RE: Replacement wheels

i would not recommend putting aluminum on, it weighs too much, and it will bend instead of crack, i would look for plastic dish wheels similar to what you would find on a monsoon xtr

RE: Several issues with brand new Volcano S30

i plan on sealing all my servo's and battery boxes this spring, i would probably use like a blue rtv gasket sealant(autozone) or possibly a silicone that would set up extremely quick<div>

RE: Several issues with brand new Volcano S30

i wouldn't reccomend going through or near water anyway, you will fry your servos as they are not sealed, and even if the battery box closed tightly it would still seep water cause there is no seal!

RE: Vortex SS gears

RE: Need help with a Tornado s30!

after you make an adjustment on either of the needles you have to run the car for a couple of minutes to let the changes take effect, i would take both needles back to stock and work from there,...
