RE: reverse

I know, save the rotating mass of that big reverse gear and that big micro servo both of which in my hand weigh nothing IMO, personally it is better to have reverse because it works awesome. Plus...

RE: 1/8 or 1/10

Congrats bro! Don't worry some people will tell you it sucks and some will say it is great.

Break it in using the heat cycle method, then go out and break it and fix it. Then go run it and break...

RE: 1/8 or 1/10

If you can afford the 1/8 go that route. Losi 8ight 2.0 is awesome and you can get a good deal, lots of used ones out there in good shape. But since it is your first purchase you don't want to buy...

RE: new to nitro and forums

Welcome to the world of nitro. And congrats on the NTC3 - they are cool cars. Old school but easy to work on, parts are super easy to find and lots of fun, I have 2 myself and enjoy them very much....

RE: Revo 2.5 glow plug issues

When I had this problem I had a way too lean LSN. That will cook plugs. Also as was said an air leak can cause a lean condition. Seal up the engine with Lucky 7 (backplate, carb neck, carb bolts, and...

RE: reverse

The reverse haters win!LOL J/Ki guess most people don't care for it and like the less hassle and increased performance. But I still like it!

RE: 3.3 issues

Just a suggestion for next time. Put some zip ties in the exhaust port on top of the piston and rotate the engine to push the sleeve out. No need to "push" it out and scrape something, it will pop...

RE: reverse

As far as I know reverse has always been standard, but you can buy a forward only conversion if you want to race where reverse is not legal or if you want to reduce rotating mass.

There are a lot...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

P.S. How do you like the old Revo filter on the Picco? LOL - well I needed a filter and it fits! The throat on that Picco carb is like the size of a .18 or bigger! Gotta find something better like...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

Charle, Yes, you got it. You will route the new switch wires to the receiver and battery. The extra male end stays loose for charging. Here are a coupe of pix of my other NTC3 with a flat pack and...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

I found an old thread where you can see the installed switch with the charge lead. If you look at the first picture you will see the leads from the battery match the leads for the switch - same...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

OK I see what the problem is. The problem is not the battery or the receiver but your on/off switch. The on/off switch that you have must have previously been hooked up to a "AA" battery holder. Your...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

I just went back and looked at the flat pack you bought. It is a universal connector - what doesn't fit about it?

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

What kind of receiver do you have? If the problem is the little "nub" on the battery lead you can just cut that off. Just make sure you put the battery in with the polarity correct.  In other words...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

That's cool, Ihave a 1600 flat in my Revo and they work great, even with three servos on that thing! You may have to loosen the radio tray to get it in, let us know if you have any questions!

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

That one will fit but why would you get a hump pack if it's the same mah as the flat pack? If Iwere going to run a hump pack Iwould run the Stickman one which gives you 2500 mah instead of 1600. It...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

Charlie, sure that pack will work just fine. The mAh number tells you the capacity of the pack, or how long it will go before recharging. Because of the size that pack will have a lower capacity than...

RE: Which Battery Pack For NTC3 RTR??

Hey Charlie, Yup, the receiver and radio have separate power supplies - what you use in one makes no difference to the other.

The thing on top of the hatch is called a failsafe. That one is a...

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread

Hey 378 how you been buddy?

Yes I stand corrected you can get one of those but the problem is it's only good for 6V.

If I was new to the hobby I still think I would get a little bit better...
