On your nose steering put your steering servo on channel 7 and slave it to channel 4 with a mix. Then set the mix to "off" when the gear is up....

I'd recommend the following based upon my Conquest IVe:

Scorpion 4025-10
6s 5000 (30c is fine)
80 amp esc (I'm pulling 67 amps max)
APC 13x10e (if it fits!)
