Diff is working very well!! I dind't open it yet to see gear condition, but it is still handling torture of testing. :)

rc8 dif in 1/4 scale? hm... diff is strong and is performing well on my 1/5 buggy, but your new tires are big and heavy! And your engine is stronger. And there will be lot of weight to stop on 1/4...

Shocks

Not one part of these shocks is strong enough to take high impacts!! These aren't bad shosks at all, but 14kg 1/5th scale and rough terrain or jumps is just too much fo them!!

That engine is common for pocket bike (cag). I bought it new from China on ebay for under 100$ with shipping to Croatia. There are plenty of pictures available online, just google pocket bike engine...

It weights 13.5kg without fuel. Unexpected, but it is lighter than before last update :)

Shocks are generic 130mm, from ebay, but modified! I had to replace springs with much harder one and...

It is front/rear diff from RC8 . Sprocket is welded onto existing gear and It is filled with automatic transmission fluid.

Bumper and pipe are finally mounted so here are pictures of "new" buggy with all updates.
I'll wait several days for better weather to test it and to make some video.

At first there was no plan to build a bumper. Very bad idea! Before this build I never drove this big, heavy and relatively fast rc vehicle. I underestimated force of almost 15kg heavy...
