I would suggest that you do not waste your money on the CVD set up, they are not stronger than the dog bones (might actually be weaker?) and cost 3 times as much. I have broken two axle ends and bent...

Mine is still going strong on stock ESC as well. I guess all the good ones got sent to the Pacific NW.

I purchased the HPI CVD and they snapped pretty quickly too. I would just suggest buying stock axles since they are fairly cheap compared to CVDs.

Thanks for the information XGAMER777. I did order the motor mount you suggested and also ordered a 17TRobinsonRacing steel pinion and have not had any problems with the spur since I installed them....
