well i think if i were you, i would probably pick up some of the new REVO 3.8 race tires coming out. they will be better than any other race tire currently on the market. that will make the truck...

yeah i am running 12 pegs now and 1/8 turn out to only obsorb impacts. i have UE CVD's, Super4, OTB 2speed and input, Maxximizer diffs, kippster spyders, so no worry here about the drive train

sorry dude but that is not really a slipper... those pads melt when allowed to slip. that is only meant to slip on impact, you cant use it for controlled slip. and it is not infront of MY tank ;)

proper slipper adjustment IS crucial. BUT the maxx does not have a slipper. you will need to pick up a Kippster slipper.

well i dont think that they need to do a bunch of "Out of this world, bigger is better" BS

i would add some spyders
extend chassis by maybe 1/2" - 3/4"
lighter tires and wheels
lighter...

1 question. is your trucks cage higher than other parts on your truck?
probably

so that means that it does raise the CG. maybe slightly, but it is still being raised

ten seconds is too long for an engine to be at WOT. but that engine isnt exactly a revver anyway. you might have stretched your rod and this would be causing high temps, from the now small head...

RAZOO, it DOES raise the CG, that is a fact

i dont like cages, the body protects against enough. the main reason i don't use them is the weight factor. TOO HEAVY

their is no way that the fantom is superior in any way to the 2.5. IMHO.... the 2.5 is much better an engine IMO. i really dont see how in stock form a fantom with that small of a carb could produce...

just an observation.

i had a savage and it was beefy, but too cluttered and hard to work on for me. (not that it was too hard for me, i just felt that the truck could be simplified a ten fold....

ok. heres my spiel on the truck.

1. losi is the best of the best in all of the classes they have cars for.
2. i run a xxx-nt. it is awesome. standard losi quality
3. 44mph w/ a 13lb truck....
