RE: Wich fuel is better ?!?!

Of the two I'd go with Byrons. Ultimately it depends on what you'reusing the truck for - if you're just bashing, go with Trinity Monster HP or someting like that with a decent oil content. The low...

RE: LST Battery life

Sgt., I think you got your series & parallel backwards - a series connection increases voltage and leaves capacity (mAh) the same, where a parallel connection increases capacity and leaves voltage...

The Spektrum systems are AWESOME! There were some problems with the first batch, but they are all corrected and the system is totally awesome. The modules for the M8, JR R-1 and the KO Helios are...

RE: 4-Wheel Steering Mod

Yeah - I've got it set up so the rear will steer with the front, or I can control it indepenently. We were going to go with the stock radio and lose reverse, but it's gonna be a climber, so having...

RE: 4-Wheel Steering Mod

We've run it a couple times - I think a better servo saver in the rear will help a bunch.

I'm using the rudder channel on the 8103. The throttle is on the elevator (right) stick and the...

RE: A tale of a Werks clutch and an SH.28

One of the biggest issues (that escapes most ppl - even me!) is that the Losi collet on the LST isn't the same one that the SH .28 and Mach .26 come with. The collet that is included with the engine...

RE: My Mach exploded

I'd send the engine in for warranty service. There's no way to know for sure if they'll cover it umless you have it looked at....

RE: What charger are you using to charge your packs?

I use an E-Flite Pinaccle. Charges 1-14 cells, adjustable current .5A - 5.0A (about 5.5 with a good power supply), has a discharge and cycle feature as well. There's an AC/DC version of it too......

RE: My upgraded steering mods for the LST...pics

The steering drag link only really hits the diff carrier only when the shocks are at full extension - if you compress the suspension a bit the rod ends have enough room to move without binding.... ...

RE: RACE RULES after reading the drake thread

I believe that rules sanctioning MT racing focus more on whether the truck is a stock MT, a truggy or a truggy conversion.... I don't think parts will pactor in there.... the easiest way to find...

RE: Problems Starting Flywheel

It's much easier to remove the head and take the engine off the mounts... marking the screws and chassis works too... I just prefer leaving the mounts on the truck.

Once you have the engine...

RE: They're Here.......

The titanium nitride hard coating greatly reduces gear wear, so they should be very durable... haven't heard of anyone having a problem with premateure wear yet :D

RE: mach problems

The other thing I'd check is the servo saver.... I'm not a real big fan of having a servo saver on my throttle linkage, as if it malfunctions all the Rx batteries and failsafes in the world aren't...

RE: Vertigo Lockers

RE: Vertigo Lockers

I guess I should clarify - the 8103 is using a 75MHz module and a JR R700 receiver converted to 75 as well. It's not a great idea to cross freqs - aside from it being illegal, it's kinda...
