RE: Pilot for TF Giant P47

I'll take a look and see what i can find.

It looks like a pilot about 3" wide and 4" tall would be about right. some of the pictures I see in real life look like the pilot is small comapared...

Pilot for TF Giant P47

I bought the TF Giant scale ARF P47 Jug. I need a decent pilot. I'm not into competition and it doesn't have to be 100% scale. Just something decent for the local flying field. Can someone direct...

RE: Best 100 inch plus arf e-powered glider for the money?

I will second Soho's suggestion on the FVK Signal as well. I have one and LOVE it. Just came back from the field today. Wind was blowing 15+ and gusty. The Signal had no trouble at all with the...

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*

From what Scott told me is that the original 366's had a carb just like that used on a G62. Don't know the part number. He then later found that a carb with a smaller throat worked better. Better...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

I have a B60 on my Extra and love it. I can't compare to any of the other mentioned engines since I haven't flown it with one of them. But the B60 is a great engine. Smooth idle and plenty of...

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*

I had a very strange and eratic problem on my B60. Drove me nuts until I found the problem. In the end I found that the metal spark plug shroud was vibrating at certain rpm against the spark plug...

RE: Radio interfernce

If you have a metal cap on the sparkplug, try puting a narrow hose clamp around the base. I had one that was loose just a tiny bit and caused all kinds of problems. The metal can vibrate against...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

I had some problems with mine as well. I thought the problem with mine was that the slots on the fuse where the tabs of the canopy slide into, were not quite high enough. I took a file and removed...

RE: Brillelli 46gt more silent exhaust/muffler?

You might give Scott a call or email him. I thought he had a pitts muffler for the 46gt that might be a little more quiet.

RE: Brillelli 366GT *60cc*

I have to agree with Scott. I tried a Menz 22x8, Menz 23x8, Vess 22B and 23B. I liked the 22x8 best but the Vess 23B was also very good. Just my preference. Try em and fly em. You'll find what...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

Never mind. I found earlier in this thread they are not used since Chris now has them include metal/rubber bonded washers. Should have searched the thread first.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

I just finished up my EF 300. I have four clear plastic 1/2" diameter washers left over. Anyone know what they are for? I was thinking maybe they go under the cowl but the instructions don't...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

Glad to hear you will be back in the air. I finally finished mine today. I will get the B60 tuned tomorrow and then wait for some decent weather for the maiden. :D

Good luck!

RE: Red Line or Royal Purple 2 cycle oil

I've used red line and had good results. I mix it 50:1 in Brillelli 60.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

You can get a pitts muffler for the B60 from Scott at www.brillelli.com . I have one for mine and it's sitting on the front of this awesome Extra just waiting for good weather and it's maiden...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

That sounds like a good idea. I've done lots of soldering myself so that doesn't bother me. I'll use your idea and work on it today.

Thanks!

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

Thanks for the idea. I think I know the spot you are talking about. My only concern was if the receiver batteries end up back by the rudder servo the wires to the switch will be pretty long. Maybe...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

I finally got around to assembling my plane. I'm at the stage of installing the batteries and switches. I'm using 2 - 5cell nimh packs for receiver and 1 - 4 cell nimh pack for ignition from NOBS ....

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

I'd contact DA and see if they can give you that insert. It may make a huge improvement. Good luck. And let us know the outcome.

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

This is not from a DA50 but a CH EI on a Brillelli 60. I had a DA50 some time ago and I seem to remember it being very similar. Maybe someone will post one from a DA50. But until then here is the...

RE: Extreme Flight Extra 300, 50cc, 88.5inch Wingspan, Build !!!!!!!

One thing to check would be the spark plug cap. I had a problem last year that nearly drove me nuts. My engine was a B60 and I think the EI setup is about the same. I found that the metal cap on...

RE: 8103 and spektrum module

I seem to remember reading in my old 8103 manual that on PPM it will only do 7ch. If the 2.4 module is running on the PPM interface then I think only 7ch is available. I'll have to look in my 8103...

8103 and spektrum module

I am considering converting my 8103 to spektrum. Will the radio be capable of using all 8 channels with the 2.4 module?

Thanks.
