B, I had a Hitec servo go bad on me after just a few bash sessions in my T, and sent it to hitec and they fixed me right up. Hope the do the same for you.

I haven't put it in yet, still getting some parts together, but I have a 10mm SM tranny to go in it. I just need diffs and I'm ready to build. I'll let you know how it goes.

I agree with Leg, I bought most of my hop-ups on ebay, and also got some great deals on MaxxTraxx for some Supermaxx parts.
I've had my T for 4 1/2 yrs, and still haven't had to crack the tranny. ...

I cleared a 10 ft. sand pile with my T, it was 12-13 ft. in the air, tried to land backside, landed on the flat after the pile, and did it numerous times for the kids in the nieghborhood, sometimes...

If you're worried about the aesthetics of it, just sand it with some very fine grit sandpaper, and polish it with a dremel and a polishing wheel and some compound. :sunsmiley

Sounds to me like you might have some detonation. Try adding a head shim or 2, and run a colder plug. If your plug is too hot, and the compression ratio is too high, it can cause detonation. you...

t-maxx--bulks, shock caps blow(stock), screws loosen on the plastic bulk from too much air, spur gears strip from too much air(chassis flex), shock towers.

airbubbles in fuel line

fuel lines would be the 1st place to start, also, vibration might be making your fuel foam when it gets low. Put some o-rings on the tank mounts to lessen the vibration, just don't tighten them too...

How old is your glow plug? Also, you might be running a little lean. Check your temps, during summer your engine tends to run hotter, making it run too lean. Hope this helps.

I live in Central FL, and all we have here is sand. My T-Maxx is over 4 yrs old, and if you clean it after you run it, use a good filter and oil (I use Bel-Ray) and don't use any kind of lubricants ...
