yak 90-120 w/dle 20cc?

I have a20cc, just won a aero works yak 90-120. Don't really want to go Glo. If a 2 cycle 120 is okay, that's basicly 20cc. I can swing up to a 18x6 with it possibly, 17x6 for sure. Possibly lighter...

you should try the mods. extended boom, solid cf boom at that, about one inch. tail will hold rock solid! Will not break as ez. Also cut some canopy gromets in half if ya have extras and put on swash...

I read a little, maybe not enough! However, there is no way my 4.8v battery pack would charge to 12v. Not possible with 4 1.2v cells!! My transmitter, after a good 10 hour charge would take the meter...

It is all stock and not to attack ya but I know about lipos! Remote had aNIMH that didn't seem to hold a charge worth a crap.1 week old!However the DX8 was showing 4.9 to 5.0 volts. Little low for me...

No in a since they can't tune it, however they are same area as me so it should be close!!! If I ritchen it up up top it stumbles, lean it out and it doesnt want to run enough rpms.. and is hot . So...

They ran it with a 11x7, I have/ had an 11x8. Fuel is same except brand. 15% nitro, 18% oil. I use byruns. That's the brand around here. It could be over proped with the 11x8 so I'll throw the 11x7...

Dubro hinge tape. I used it to stop the "whistling" noise in my stick. Clear so you don't even see it. Unless you know it's there! It helped my "whistling" noise..

when I hinged my yak I put a bit of vasaline in a dixie cup, put dixie cup in warm water to thin the vasaline out, folded and dipped! BUTTER</p>

Yes I agree, I was kinda shocked to only see 2! I understand ca hinges need thin ca, I have put together a few arf's. But ca usually doesn't bond to hardened ca very well. So I will use epoxy there...

I do not have enough room. The control horn is at bottom of rudder of course, right above is where the hinge is/was. Can not go below due to the screws attatching the horn, If i go above, I'm right...

Bought the plane used, I know it was built from a kit, the guy is 70 yrs young and has been in the hobby for 40 yrs. Plane is just old and been through the ringer! I would ask him but he flat didn't...
