Hey, great links to the fantoms... does tower carry them? I like the .18. That is the one I will go with if I get a fantom. What about OS engines? Any suggestions?

What engine should I get to replace the 2.5 traxxas engine in my rustler?

Traxxas Nitro Rustler 2.5 Engine & Shocks

I am looking to either:

A) Install a new engine (has to work with easystart) & new shocks on my Rustler.

or

B) Sell my rustler & get a Losi or T/A truck.

Well, the T-maxx is a monster truck. It is not really designed to strictly run on the street.

You can make modifications (change shock holes to lower the ride height) and put softer springs & oil...

Actually, the 2.5 engine is 2.5 cc's.

it is a .15 bore, same as the pro .15

It has a claimed 40% more horsepower / cc's.

It is definately a good bit more powerful.
