Yeah, I ordered the interface version from OMP just before reading this post. It looks like the interface is the old futaba type so I might have to get some other type of adapter before I can use one...

Hi, sure.. it is easy to adjust throw.

The rule of thumb is further OUT on the servo horn = more throw.

and

Further IN on the control surface horn = more throw.

Just balance it...

The LA will take off on grass. I have a .40 LA on my trainer and have taken off tons of times from our grass runway with ease. I've come to believe it is the most under rated engine in the hobby :)
