RE: Revo 3.3=7; OS,Sirio, XTM247=0***Perfect Record!!!

If you can't race them around a track, you're not fast. Sorry.

Unless we're talking dragsters.

RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

To start a high compression, pullstart motor that is new:

a) Heat the crankcase with a blowdryer.
b) Holding your finger over the stinger, pull the pull starter until you see fuel hit the...

RE: Hitec Servo HSC 5998TG????

Did you lose the one the servo came with?

If so, I believe a standard 3mm machine threaded screw will fit. If not, it's 2.6mm. I can't remember.

RE: Hot Bodies Question

And if LHS's did a thousand times more business, they could afford to lower their prices "just a little". That nifty storefront, electric lights, and employees to sell you parts all cost money. One...

RE: 190mm vs 200 mm

190mm and 200mm refers to the width of the body. For the wheels to look "right", you'll need to get some wheels with a wider offset. Other than that, it'll be ok.

RE: Hot Bodies Question

I might be the "guy at the LHS" he was talking about. As a dealer, try to get parts for Hot Bodies vehicles. It's a nightmare. I refuse to stock something that maybe 1 out of every 20 times I...

RE: TIME FOR ANOTHER DECISION.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The OS .18 TM Revo model will bolt right in. You have to massage the header a bit to make it fit, but it'll work.

RE: Jato or Mt2???

The JATO has better suspension, a 2 speed transmission, and is about as easy to steer as a 2wd stadium truck can be. The MT2 is slower, has a single speed transmission, and handles quite well due to...

RE: Problem with rear brakes on Monster Pirate!

You have an X1-CR Pro right? The braking system on the Monster Pirate is the same as any 1/8th scale vehicle isn't it? I would think you would install the inner pad, remove the center to rear...

RE: honest opinion, which truggy should i get???

Jammin' X1-CRT if you have the budget for engine, pipe, radio, and servos. I kind of like the Hellfire. We got a couple in the other day and I had an opportunity to examine one pretty closely. ...

RE: NOVAK XXL RECEIVERS

They are really small, and I've had good success running them in the past. If you get the "J" connector, any servo will work (except OLD Airtronics).

RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread

We're getting two today at the store. I already told the manager that nobody better put them out before I get there to, um, "check them out for shipping damage".

RE: Which of these 2 servos for truggy?

The Hitec is MUCH faster than the listed specs. I've been using it in my X1-CRT and it is lightning fast. Considering my driving style, it's darn near bulletproof too.

"Short" Crystals --- Myth or Truth?

We had receiver crystals for virtually every channel at the LHS I work at, except we didn't have "short" crystals. So I took my trusty new 3PK up to the store with an HRS receiver, and began to test...

RE: Another CRT engine Q

Joech, the part number for the CRT wheels is 86104 and 86105. One is for the white wheels, and one is for the yellow (I can't remember which is which offhand). Hope this helps you.

RE: My story, getting back into nitro buggies, help me out please!!

I vote for the O.S. V-Spec as well. It's easy to tune, and it actually HOLDS a tune, unlike many other mills. The JP-2 pipe is good, but it's more for mid and high range power, might want to think...

RE: OFNA Jammin True Specs?

It's the same as any other 1/8th scale buggy. And man, all that hard anodized CNC aluminum shore is purty.

Best .21 conversion kit for "old Tmaxx"

If you are going to really bash and want the chassis to hold together, I would spend the extra cash and go UE. It is still the strongest and IMHO the best looking of all the conversion chassis...

Hmmm..... Well, guys, I have had three T-Maxxes and have worked on countless others. I built one from a box of parts to a full Hardcore .21 conversion truck. The second one was a race truck, and I...

ofna 1/8 off road buggies

How about the Acer Racing AR-8 Pro? It is a pro level car with ceramic bearings and a ton of hopups for 400 bucks. I'm probably gonna get one just to see how good it is.
