RE: Any way to salvage this stuff?

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the Flat 540 plans on E Zone does anyone know if they're still on there?

3D-kid330 do you think a 3d foamy would carry a 3 cell 2100mah lipo with a 2025 5300...

Any way to salvage this stuff?

I've been out of the Hobby for a couple months due to an ungodly amount of school activities. My friend has gotten me into 3D planes and I'm looking to try and salvage my old setup. So far I've...

RE: Depressed!

How about this. You sell the rascal without the motor and battery on RCUniverse. Then take your money from that go buy a GWS kit for $50 and fly! Now you can always more expensive motors and...

RE: Warbird starter plane help!

First question, have you flown before? If not buy an actual trainer. Otherwise that extra buck my just have been wasted if you can't fly the WWII bird.

RE: Formosa motor upgrade.

Why don't you want a "HOT" brushless setup? If you spend $25 on a brushed 400 motor from GWS you'd be halfway to buying a brushless motor. Let me give you the sales pitch I got, and it's every bit...

RE: GWS Funny Park Mods? Keester?

I can't get you pictures but it's really quite simple. The guy didn't make any "mods" he just used what came in the package. Essentially the only you'd need a support in your wing like a bamboo...

RE: Tiger Moths parts

I think GWS puts all of those plastic parts in every model. It seems like all the foam parts should be used(two for the fuse, one for elevator, and two for the wing). Maybe a picture would help...

RE: Trim keeps changing

I think you have the same problem I do. My pushrods are really weak and I can see them flex when they move. My hinges aren't bad because I put actual pin hinges in although, I used CA hinges the...

RE: Himax 2015 or 2025 for GWS Corsair

The difference between the 'D' and the 'I' gearbox is that the 'D' has a lower ratio. So the 'D' makes the prop turn 3 times for every time the motor turns while the 'I' turns the prop 6.1 times for...

RE: Himax 2015 or 2025 for GWS Corsair

Guess what. I did the same thing. You'll absolutely shock the guys at your flying field who think electrics are sissy toys. I went to e-flightline to buy mine. I got a Himax 2025 5300, a Phoenix...

RE: Which “Speed x00 motor” for 12V 3cell Lipo

How about looking at a brushless motor. They're much more powerful and efficient. It might cost you a little extra but in the long run it's a better deal. One motor can last forever as long as you...

RE: Glue questions

I looked for you, I didn't find the Purex but I did find the styro glue. I've always used 5 minute epoxy on my planes. Hope this helps.

RE: I need help about a quick charger.

If you're looking for just a charger for I'd recomend the Hobbico Quick Field Charger MK II. It charges two batteries at a time(great feature). The only draw back is that it can only charge Lipo's...
