RE: Official XXX-NT Thread!!!

You could if you really wanted. It would be more cost effective to just buy an ad2 kit. To convert, you have to buy the parts in bunches. Like for the rear end, you would need the arms, matching...

RE: When using a starter box do you let it run first then put the flywheel on??

Its better to let the starter wheel get up to the highest rpm's, than put the flywheel down to start it up.

RE: AD2 Diff Problem

Check ur diff nut (the threads the screw goes into) and also check the thrust bearing. If you didnt grease the bearing or u put it together wrong your diff will not stay tight while running.

RE: Broken connecting rod

Yeah you probably didnt let the engine heat up enough or you kept it at a constant rpm. The sleeve has to expand during break-in for it to work properly. There is also less stress on the conrod...

RE: Simple Green?!?!?!?!

I use it also, I use 100 percent to get off heavy gunk. Other wise I use 50 percent simple green and 50 percent denatured alcohol. The alcohol allows it to dry up no matter what, and with that...

RE: XXX-NT transmission

That isnt really the best thing to do. Just make sure that ur slipper slips before the diff does. On a fresh diff you can actually keep the slipper relatively tight while not having the diff slip.

RE: Official XXX-NT Thread!!!

The rear end on the ad2 is a bit different than the ad1. The battery box is thicker and sturdier as is the rear shock tower. The rear hubs are nice machined aluminum with vertical studs which make...

RE: OS .12TZ Turbo in a GT2?

Its really depends on driving style. Some like the tz while others dont. I havent ran a tz yet in my ad2 so i dont know. I would say if you think you need the power go for it and use a restrictor.

RE: Official XXX-NT Thread!!!

The 2.5r will fit if it has a standard shaft. You need to put after-run oil to into the eninge through the exhaust port and take that nut off first. Than everything should slide off.

RE: Car struggles to move at lower rpm problem

if you have a centax clutch that could be off. Put it back to stock setting. It may be too loose and rubbing at low rpm.

RE: full kit? look

100-150 oz with .10 sec or under will work great for racing. But if you are just bashing the hitec 625 is fine.
