First FPV goggles

Been watching a lot of videos as well as reading as much as I can. Seems the most common suggestions is the Fatshark Dominator V2. I'm confused why this is still the pick over the HD. I realize...

RE: MCP-X - indestructible landing gear for beginners

Can you give us a parts list? It looks fairly simple but a specific set of parts would be nice to start from.

Problem with MCX

After a bit of use I have run into a problem with my MCX. With a full battery, everything runs fine. As the battery weakens, I start to have spin problems. The heli will spin uncontrollably...

RE: MCX acting funny

Nothing huge. A few mild ones but nothing I would have thought to be destructive to the electronics.

MCX acting funny

So today I went to the hobby store, bought some more batteries, a new set of upper and lower blades, and a second charger to make down time between flights a little less. Since I have got home I...

RE: Losi Micro Crawler

We'll have to see what the aftermarket does for this. I have a feeling while it may not be a comp rig out of the box that before long every part on the truck will be replaceable with an upgrade. I...

stock ax10 rod end threads?

I bought a used rig and it came with 4 wheel steering. Nobody around allows it so I want to go back to 2 wheel steering. It is a bit of a trip to run to the lhs and I was planning on going with all...

RE: New Losi Vehicle on 10/22/09

A brushless 1/8th MT makes sense. HPI and Traxxas offer them and it seems like a legit market to tap into. I have no interest in it. I already think my LST is enough machine and I don't feel like...

Slightly different beginner plane?

Well I have a slightly different look on getting a beginner plane. About 10ish years ago I tried flying. I would have been early teens and didn't have a clue what I was doing. I built a slow stick...

RE: axial ax10

Like I said if its all you can afford it gets you in the door crawling. It isn't the best but it will teach you a bit and is enough to have fun with. The problem with asking a question like that...

RE: axial ax10

If you are looking at doing this long term I suggest getting the nicest rig you can afford out of the box. It will save you in the long run. The rtc will get you in the door and should teach you a...

RE: New (to me) Axial

A little bit on the wood pile in the backyard. I have been a bit busy to really work it out but so far its awesome. I'll have to get it out to the stone quarry soon to really push it.

New (to me) Axial

Well I finally stepped into the crawler world. Traded away an e-revo for this as the e-revo just sat. Now its time to find some good crawling spots and learn what I'm doing. First change will be...

RE: Steering servo on a tight budget

For $35 its hard to beat the hitech 645mg. Its not as nice as the 5645 but its metal gear and fairly high torque especially for the money. If you can't hold out for a 5645 then I would look at the...

RE: 3 Channel RX/Transmitter?

Honestly the TQ3 3 channel tx/rx that comes on many of the traxxas models can be found on ebay shipped for $25. For that money its hard to justify not going with a 3 channel setup.

RE: LST slipper nut threads?

I lost everything from the spur forward so I just went with the losi kit. I didn't know if the thrust bearing was important or not but thought for $6 I would replace it and the other parts. The...

RE: LST slipper nut threads?

Well so much for buying just the nut. The old mostly stripped nut completely stripped when I moved it last and the spring and washers are long gone. Its good to know in case I need another though. ...

LST slipper nut threads?

The nut holding the slipper tight has stripped out. I was hoping not to buy all the other parts in the slipper kit and instead hit up ace hardware to replace just the nut. Any idea on the threads? ...

RE: BLADE mSR parts list

I would think at this point you could still ebay the charger if you don't want it and get most of the cost back out of it. Not the best solution for someone with all the batteries and chargers they...

RE: Best mini for grass

They carry parts for the Losi and Traxxas options but honestly every time I have gone their some of the parts I need have had to been ordered. I wait as long through them as I would through the...

Best mini for grass

I know mini and grass don't tend to go hand in hand but all I have to run on is lawn cut about medium height. What's the best option out there for the money? I like the fact the e-revo was designed...

RE: OFFICIAL MINI E-REVO THREAD!!!

I've searched this thread and forum as well as a bit on youtube. How fun is the mini e-revo in the grass? Most of my run times are in medium length lawn and I would hate to dump the cash out for...

Novus FP for first non-coax

Pretty straight forward for those of you with experience. I have a Blade cx2 and mcx and have grown very bored with them. The coax design is great for letting friends play with a toy but it has...

RE: No low end on lst

When I say the owb I mean in the two speed gearing, not on the motor. The one on the motor wouldn't be the issue. And as said I'm making 1/12 adjustments. I have thought it could be the clutch and...
