Sounds like a good idea. The only thought I had about the styrene was will air flow under the door (when they are open) tear it loose? I know it's going to be slow flying, but there will be a space...

Hey Wes..looking great! I've just got the fuse bones together on mine, still trying to engineer some things before going any further. Did you use the ideas we talked about for the bomb bay doors...

Hi..

Still in the planning stages here, will be working on the water tight issue in the near future. I am just a bit concerned about watching a multi-thousand dollar airplane sink out of sight!...

By the way..I get the impression you are building a PBY-5 or similar..I'm in the planning stages of one..I have some plans for a 108" version but I think I may go up to 170..not sure...

Hello..

Here are 2 sites..the first is Century Jet, showing the gear they make for the 170 inch version. The second site is plans for a pby. You can download the photos and enlarge the gear...
