i would suggest a laser-cut kit. you not really going to find a beginner scale kit. I think an SR batteries kit would be a great choice. they are about as easy as it gets pretty much falls together...

the break is even with the top of the fuel shelf... the bottom piece is abot 1-1.5" tall and the other piece is about 2.5-3" tall all four engine mount holes are on...
