This might sound like a silly question ... but is the rx crystal seated correctly? ie. does it sit firmly in position?
It might be easier to take the heli to a LHO for inspection...

What would be the fun of flying a heli if it could fly itself? With time it becomes second nature to hold a heli in a stable hover ... one thing that does help you learn a lot faster, is a simulator.

The JR591 servos are fine for doing 3D using a 120 CCPM head... Not sure what swash type the Sceado uses. If the head is not CCPM, you might have to upgrade your servos. I fly a Voyager 50 with...

Try connecting the pushrods to the servos and see how far the servos push the swash... As far as I know the Venture is an ARF, so you shouldn't have to do any mods on the heli to be able to do basic...

Hi Bruddah,

The buzzing you are hearing from the digital servo is normal, don't worry about it.
Don't use grease on the links, if you want to 'loosen' things up a little you will have to buy...

Wild Beat, I think Galifrey meant Futaba 9253. This servo is a high speed digital heli rudder servo that is recommended for use with the GY401 gyro.
It has dual ball bearings on the output...
