Have you tried the controller in fixed throttle mode?

Also - if in gov mode - what throttle % settings are you using? Have you flown e-helis before?

The Mamba ESC won't let you "burn it out", but if you flow too much current - yes, it is possible (but highly unlikely)

Travis,

wet noodle is among the best wire available - there is no such thing as "too big" when it comes to transfering power for hungry brushless setups.

Hmm - try it at 100% and see what happens. Might be a bug in our beta Mamba-Link USB software.

What batts/connector do you use?

What do you have your reverse/brake power set at?

Let me step in here, and perform "rumor control"

Mamba 25/Mamba combos are not being phased out, redesigned, made bigger, etc. etc. The only change in the future will be added software features...

We had a batch of resistors out of tolerance a while back, and that is causing the non-starts on some 25 controllers - not an issue w/any motors, just those particular controllers.

All our ESC's are programmed via the throttle stick.
You go through a routine to get into "programming mode", and once in, just answer a series of yes/no questions as to what you want the settings...
