I think it will take a lot of the "exhale" pressure to develope the tank pressure I need. I'm concerned that the restricted vent hose will not let the engine breath properly.

I do the same thing to minimize the problem as much as possible, but I suspect that it is a proximity issue and anything within a 12" diameter (or some number of inches) around the fuse is impacted. ...

I'm sorry, the Saito comments are under "What engine to Use" in this same heading, "Giant Scale", and NOT under "H-9 Sukhoi & Saito 450" as stated above!
