RE: MCX vs. helimax Novus CX

just picked up one of the Novus CX's at my LHS yesterday. The wind was at 1 in the front yard last evening so I got to try it outside. It is definately faster than the MCX. There is way more blade...

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX

This is my first heli. It is not a complex machine. just pay attention to how you take things apart so you can reasemble in order. I have not had any time to experiment with it since I posted the pic...

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX

Yeah that is where the "Just about done" part comes in. The front mounting bar is not wide enough to go through the sides of the fuse. I have to find a way to slightly modify in order to
get it to...

RE: Movie Flyboys, good for Scale WW1 era?

I hope to see more WW1 planes made because of the movie. I just hope people don't
expect the unlimited verticals out of these aircraft like in the movie. I am a huge fan of WW1 aircraft and am the...

RE: Great Planes DR-1 ARF

Khodges,
Thank you for the complement on the covering. It is done completely in monokote with the cowl and wheels painted with matching monokote paint. It is loosely based on an
Udet scheme but I...

RE: Dr 1 color schem

Yes, it is a version of Udets scheme. I did it in black and yellow becasue I
have a Kyosho Gee Bee Z and it is easy to see in the air. There are no yellow
markings on the bottom to help with...

RE: Great Planes DR-1 ARF

Just put the 6th flight on my GP DR-1. What an awsome airplane! I totally stipped
all the covering off of mine, recovered and painted after beefing up the spars on
the lower wing. Installed a...

Just got my first Twist a few weeks ago. WOW! what a fun plane. It sure is
a nice break from the WWI birds I usually fly. Easy to transport and
will do anything I want. I might have to get a...

RE: Dr 1 color schem

got to choose their own designs and sometime colors, I would do the same and
recover my GP arf in black and yellow....

RE: GP Stearman or Goldberg Monster Pitts?

I have decided to go with the Stearman. I have a Super Tigre 2300 that needs a home.
Besides, I noticed that the Pitts has the rounded trailing edge wingtips. I have seen photos
of real model...

RE: f-27 stryker

I got in two flights on my red/white stryker today. It flys great. even in the gusty
10 to 15 mph wind. I also cut the "air intakes" to a 60 degree angle to
get rid of those vertical airbrakes....

RE: f-27 stryker

I flew a friends F-27 last week. It was the first E-plane I have ever flown.
Needless to say, I was so impressed that the next day I had one of my own.
The perfomance is great on this bird. The...
