RE: JR 9503 OR aURORA 9?

If you check Horizon's own advertising, they say "Proven JR 9303 transmitter programming", so I think that question is already answered. Only difference from the X9303 is the throttle stick timer,...

RE: 2.4ghz module for hitec eclipse 7

You need the one with model code SPMMSFUT7 or SPMMSFUT9 (with 7 or 9-channel receiver), the SPMMSMZ7/SPMMSMZ9 will not work.

RE: Aurora 9 radio

He did put that link on almost all other threads for the Aurora, so I think he did a pretty good job even if he forgot this one ;).

Nice manual, btw. I can understand now why it took so long...

RE: MAN reports on Airtronics SD-10G 2.4Ghz radio system

Don't hold your breath for the Aurora to show up before the SD-10G, the Aurora is not even approved by the FCC yet. But it's a very tempting radio, and looks like it's worth the wait. The SD-10G...

RE: *Airtronics SD-10G 2.4 GHz*

According to the FCCdatabase, the SD-10Gwas approved on April 24th, the FCC ID is L73-90100, so this should not be a reason for delay.

RE: What battery type are you using for your Spektrum 2.4ghz Rx?

When you use a 2S A123-pack, do you also have a regulator or do you feed those 6,6 volts directly to receiver and servos? I'm also considering such a pack in my next project.

RE: Spektrum brand modules in Futaba transmitters

The Spektrum module for Futaba 9C does not use the trainer port. I have one and it works very well, and it's extremely good value for money.
The module for the more advanced Futaba radios (12 FG...

RE: Gold dotted Futaba 608FS and 6014FS 2.4 Rx

Jan, I guess you did you not see the Spektrum ad's in the US magazines lately? They tested a Spektrum receiver until it physically melted, but still worked... and then made some clever remarks about...

RE: Graupner mx22-spektrum dm9 module hummm

I have a DM8 module for my Futaba radio, and it also hums. I think it's the voltage regulator, the 2.4 Ghz components runs on 5V I believe (or maybe even lower?), so the voltage from the transmitter...

RE: Futabas new 2.4 10C and JR's 2.4 9303

Another difference between Futaba and JR are the timers. On Futaba radios you can start a timer with the throttle, this is not possible on JR radios, AFAIK. This is a feature I use mostly for my...

RE: Futaba FASST Module/Rx sets for 2.gGhz

This is the second reference I see about the 6-ch Rx being discontinued. But I see no such info on Tower's site, they have it in stock and no info that it is discontinued. Maybe it was a mistake from...

RE: 2.4ghz recievers

But what about parkflyer-PRICED receivers? That's the only thing that keeps me from hitting the order button right now. It would be very nice with a 5 or 6-channel receiver at a price point of about...

RE: SIG KOBRA

Just maidened my Kobra today, after working on it for about 3 years (I'm not the fastest of builders...). Mine is powered by an ASP 25, and currently I have a 9x5 Master Airscrew prop. Not a lot of...

RE: problem with 7CAP trim!....help!

FWIW, I had the same problem with my 7CAP on my first flight for the season. The TX had been unused for a couple of months. After some frenetic "clicking" on the switch it started working again and...

RE: DX7 BACKUP ERROR

Hej flunk,

Do you fly at one of the Uppsala club fields? I'm thinking of buying the DX7 myself, but it would be nice to see it in action first.

RE: Hatch lock - any smart ideas?

Thanks for your suggestions, all of them are very good! I especially like the spring-loaded one, it's neat! The magnet idea could maybe also solve the CG problem, it's slightly too far back and some...

Hatch lock - any smart ideas?

Hi, I'm a newbie that have completed my first ARF model (a Seagull Jumper 25), and I decided to add a hatch so that I more easily can access the fuel compartment.
