You don't need to seal both top and bottom, just do the bottom. that will stop the air from bleeding thru the gap whitch is what we're thying to do.

check for any metal to metal contact at any point on the aircraft that could vibrate. This causes any rx to go crazy. Cuses rf interferance to enter the seystem.

If the eyelets are install correctly[from the bottom up] the screw will tighten down on it and leave the gromet free to absorb any vibration. Thus they can be tightened quite firmly.

I forgot to mention the digipulse is a little pricey at around a 100 bucks give or take a little but I consider it well worth the price over the long haul.
