Four Star 120 Balance Point

I know a 4 star 120 is probably not considered a giant scale plane but is IMAA legal. I just purchased one second hand and have all my gear and engine installed but have no idea where the balance...

RE: What the heck is this stuff?

I may be wrong but I don't think it's a covering that you can buy off the shelf no way. I've seen the type your talking about though, I've got a Lion Models Cessna covered in the ame stuff. It looks...

RE: What's the best Cub ARF

The World Models makes a nice cub arf but nothing big enough to handle a Saito 80. I had the 40 size with an ASP 65 4 stroke and it was more than enough engine for the plane. I've got their 25 size...

RE: RCS Throttle Hookup

That's a good question Barnyard. I haven't gotten that far yet but as soon as I do and come up with a solution if there is one I'll let you know. What screw are you talking about removing? On mine...

RE: What do you think of this??

ALL OF IT LOOKS GOOD TO ME AND YOU WON'T NEED GAS. I'VE GOT A SAITO 1.80 ON MINE AND SHE'S A PLENTY. I THINK YOUR CHOICE OF SERVOS ARE PROBABLY OVERKILL THOUGH UNLESS YOU PLAN TO 3-D ALOT. I USED...

RCS Throttle Hookup

What's the best or should I say easiest way to hook up the throttle linkage on the RCS 140? I know a bellcrank system would probably work but I've never tried to hook one up that way. Is there any...

sig kadet senior, magnum XL 91

If you didn't shim the mount or the engine it should have the right amount of thrust built in. I just bolted the mount to the firewall and the engine to the mount and flew it. Hope this helps!

sig kadet senior, magnum XL 91

I built one for my dad a few months ago with that same engine and although it's overkill it's better than dead weight in the plane. Running the stock fuel tank and a MA 13X8 3 bladed prop on his. You...

Yeah, I found that out after I ground the throttle arm off. Oh well, it still works fine but I'll know better next time. Thanks everyone for the help!

G-38 Throttle

Thanks Dick for the help. I kind of figured that was the way that you might have to do but wasn't quite sure. I'd really hate to ruin a brand new engine or in this case the carb over my own ignorance...

Servos requirements question

I would think 1- 130 oz servo would be sufficient enough. My H9 540 has dual servos on the elevator. One for each half and I used 77 oz. servos on it. So you should be fine.
