I had two, the first with jr ds3421 in the wing and the other hitec225mg. after 100 flights the 225mg needed new gears though, but for $30 you can not go wrong.

cut the flex shaft just aft of the solid section, then you have to silver solder the flex shaft into the brass coupler. The easiest way to do this is to get a pair of vise grips to hole the shaft...

I was also concerned about the elevator push rods and the heat from the pipe melting the plastic tubs. Also I was wanting to know if I should build a new kit or convert my current bird?

I think that my first starfire with ramtec, os 91, was faster than the viofan, 96 combo. then again the first one was 2 pounds lighter than my current bvm 96 viofan

Is any one ever going to make an arf F4? I would love to have an F4, but I simply do not have the time to build a BVM or Y/A. Skymaster should think about offering one, their f18 is beautifull!
