Found my problem, windows 7 uses the word...

Found my problem, windows 7 uses the word "application" not EXE after the file.
just go's to show how much I use the bloody thing.

Mine only had 5 litres of fuel through it when it lost compression , it started making the clinking sound a few tankfuls after that.
It is best to Run in, in the air anyway.

Your right, it's just so lame how the new mintor is going about it. Better just to cut the old and get on with it.
Maybe the warranty laws that each country have would make this hard...

I have just got off the other rc site, topdawg are no longer mintor dealers and no longer will do any warranty on mintor engines. so you guys in the USA will have to send your engines back to Italy....

I see that Topdawg no longer sells mintor. Topdawg would have had to be the largest dealership, repair centre for mintor. I hope they send the parts to fix my engines before they go under.

Pope,
mine was the batch that had the wrong size cylinder, when new I got 8000rpm on a menzs 17x6 prop then after 5 or 6 tanks dropped to 7500rpm. It was making a loud clinking noise near the end....

Just got news from the South African dealer, New Mintor is still alive.
He has been sent parts. They are very slow on the communication side of things .
We might get our engines fixed.

Thanks Flyinrazorback it sounds like I won't have to cut a hole to make it fit. P.S I have a QS 106 with MTW cans and should have my yak by the end of the month.
