Old magazines are great for thicker resins....doesnt have to be your RC mags, use your significant other's magazines for this...great for funneling resin into tight places and easy to squeegee off...

You might also check out Cleveland Models. I bought a plan for the 1/12 scale Bell X-1. Not really intended for actual rc flight but it can be modified. They have several scale sizes.
