I too agree with what's being said here about the wire legs for the SA 402HD gear.Go with either the Robart or the Jet-1A struts as mentioned.I have a XL with 43 flights to date using the SA 402HD...

I feel atleast that if one is gonna spend 124.00 for a 5955 Hitec why not just spend less(114.00) and get a more proven JR 8611a?Granted there have been some reported failures with a few 8611's here...

The cockpit is not bad at all to install,atleast mine wasn't.You Just need to trim down the outer lips on all 4 sides in order to get both front & rear tubs to go in...
