Sokol Questions

Hey All,

I got a handed down Sokol but the guy didn't have the instruction so I don't know the CofG or the recommended throws. Any help from one of you Sokol owners would be appreciated.

You didn't say how many cells your battery has but it looks like you are low on watts. using an 8 cell Sanyo 3000 with just a regular brushed speed 600 and that prop you are around 107 watts on a 3...

I would think Solite, Nelson Film or Oracover Lite would be alot lighter than paint. Paint adds up quick and on a speed 400 18 ounce plane 2 or 3 ounces is almost a 1/4 of the weight.

I'm trying to setup my FPR mixing so when I go into setup and scroll to "mix WNG" it say "OF" pressing the increase button it says "mix FPR" = ON then pressing the decrease button twice...

Hmmm all I can say is just in the motor specs which is maximum efficiency is between 15 and 26 amps, it sustain 40 amps for 60 secs. You might need to make a test bed with whatever you are gonna use...

I don't think I have seen a gearbox for a rotating can motor, if there is one it must be new.

You can't beat Magic Markers on Bluecore or Depron go to any Office supply shop and you can get a 10 pack in either wide tip or small tip and they work really well.
