RE: Difference between OS 46 LA R/C and LAS...

The .46 has a thiner cylinder liner than the .40 giving it an increased bore. This also make the .46 slightly lighter in weight than the .40.

RE: Brodak Cardinal ARF : OS 40 LAS or 46 LAS?

The Cardinal will fly with either engine. Keep in mind you will need to use .018 lines on the 46 and you can use .015 lines on the 40.

RE: new design prototype

Bruce,

Are you looking for someone to review the plans or the model built from the plans? Or are you looking for a purchase and review or are you offering a free plan for a review?

RE: Old Engines For Sale

Bruce,

The larger engine is either a .36 or .29. If it is the .29 it will have .29 stamped on the top of the mounting lugs on the bypass side.

RE: Super Ringmaster question.

You can probably paint some acetone on the old glue joints to re-dissolve the glue.

A little over a year ago I pulled some models out of the attic after thirty years of storage and was surprised...

RE: Need Help Identifying a Kit

Night flyer,

There are probably other sights out there with more info. But I think you have a model of a Crusader that was kitted by Dumas in the early 70s. I had one and used it in sport...

Hey Doc,

If mounted vertical, what is the effect on tank position? Would it be different than with CL venturi setup?

RE: The High Flyin' Guy

Jerry,

I guess I forgot to mention that the LAs were all fitted with an RC carburator. It's ok for breaking them in but I need to make or buy a venturi to fly with. I understand from talking...

RE: The High Flyin' Guy

Jerry,

I've been torn on whether to use the LA .40 or .46 on some of my planes. The .46 is lighter than the .40 and a little more powerful. The problem is you have to step up to .018 lines to...
