RE: Tire making 101

Some folks just use whatever they can find that will work...and settle for it.

Some folks have the knowledge of the tools used...but don't use them.
Some folks have the knowledge of the...

RE: Meister 118" Zero

Built as per plans as the 118" prototype that I bought from Ty (I don't know the exact weight, but she wasn't heavy) this aircraft flies beautifully on a Quadra 75. With a Q 100 it would definitely...

RE: Meister 118" Zero

Sounds like an excellent project! The Miester Zero (118") is a real sweet bird to fly...I bought the protoype from Ty, flew it myself, sold it to Jeff... well you already know the lineage. I think...

RE: Meister P47

Hi Sean, If you are using scale or pretty much anything close to scale wheels, this is a common thing. You can cut down the ribs a bit which will help, also you can shim up the retracts to get a...

RE: A Bigger Me-109

Ampeater, Give F4u5 a PM also. In my opinion the Platt is more scale, however the Meister is a better flying airplane. Jeff may have the perfect solution to get the best of both in one! Best of...

RE: A Bigger Me-109

Ampeater, Do yourself a huge favor...go with the Meister Scale...they fly incredibly, and are a relatively easy build. Meister along with the 85" also does a 101" 109...you can detail them as much...

RE: Did The Russians fly a TA-183 Huckebein?

Patton was an idiot...they would have steamrolled us like they did the third reich! Despite our airpower, it was no match for the numbers they had or their tactics. You have to remember, Stalin and...

RE: ME262

True Airworld does a 262, but it is small. Joe Saietta from Florida does a real nice 106" wingspan 262, that will fly on turbines, DF, or even OS 1.08's and props! It is a glass fuse and wing...

RE: Flat Paint Question.

Hmmm...what will cure it? Sanding, sanding and more sanding. Then make up a couple of test peices and find out what is not compatible with what, then repaint using paints that are compatible. ...

RE: Platt FW190 A8 Build

JT, Excellent! This is a model that really should be documented. Dave is one of, if not the best, scale builder/designer of all time, and there is a definite demand for a build thread on this one....
