RE: IRC Photon????

I work at a hobby shop, and I'd say 90% of the photons we've sold have had a problem. Whether it be an easily stripped rear diff, faulty radio system out of the box, or something else, we haven't...

RE: What will happen if you jump a crawler (like a max climber)?

If it's a good crawler, it wont jump. Crawlers by definition are S L O W. You need a bit of pep to get up obstacles, but jumping is not part of the equation.

RE: **usa-1 rock crawler**

I was thinking about a USA1 crawler for a while. It can be done, and might be pretty interesting. You'd have to cut the front and rear ends off, and lock the Independant suspension in place. Then...

RE: Twin Force

Rock crawlers dont go fast- hence the name 'crawler.' The Twin force is fun truck to crawl stock, just lock the diffs. You can give it 4-link suspension for not much money, but it's a lot of work....

RE: Twin Force as a crawler base?

Oh, I forgot to mention that using 2.2" wheels and tires on TF axles would be similar scale-wise to running go-kart tires on a Dana 60! The axle would get hung up on everything. You'd be much happier...

RE: Twin Force as a crawler base?

If you want a scale crawler, twin force axles are going to be way too wide for a 1/10 or 1/8 scale body. TLT-1 axles are just the right width for a scale crawler using standrd lexan bodies. You could...

RE: Anyone got a Unimog?

Hi,

First off, there are a couple Unimog body sources for R/C, but none that will fit a Savage. You can buy a Bruder Unimog Toy and use the body on a Pajero-TLT-custom chassis and it'll look ok....

RE: video of Cen Aquajet offshore. ;)

Nice video! Looks like fun. Hey, does the Aqua Jet self-right like the Wave Shark? I love jumping waves, which is why I want the Wave shark, but if the Aqua Jet self-rights too then I might consider...

RE: Slayden Wins the PROLINE Maxx challenge!!

The Tamiya website has a nice write up of their venture into MT racing with the TNX. (tamiya.com, usa version) Looks like they were cruising to a 1-2-3 win in small block but 1 and 2 both ran out of...
