RE: Hirobo SRB Quark Forum: Photos Q&A

Yes, my quark can maintain level flight when the throttle stick is in the mid position. An experienced Quark's owner in Japan told me that the red Led light MUST be ON and STEADY right before the...

RE: Hirobo SRB Quark Forum: Photos Q&A

Thank you skyking for the link. That was what I did, and the performance was better. I didn't touch anything else on that flybar. You don't really see the difference until you fly the quark...

RE: Hirobo SRB Quark Forum: Photos Q&A

I did what skyking did except number 1, which is increasing the rpm of the tail rotor/rudder. With the advanced setting, the Quark is a great flying machine, especially when it is flown outdoor....

RE: Help me choose : 4#3B brushless OR Hirobo Quark?

Finally, I made my decision, and bought the SRB Quark two weeks ago. I have had 25 flights without any mishap/crashing so far. All I can say is that this heli is a joy to fly. My first flight was...

RE: Help me choose : 4#3B brushless OR Hirobo Quark?

Cenracer> Thank you for your input. I never stress the motor and the battery. What I noticed was that the brushed wears out after each flight. I fly my brushed 4#3 B six times a day. Three...

RE: Help me choose : 4#3B brushless OR Hirobo Quark?

Thanks for the reply helistyle. Could you clarify a little bit why you are quite disappointed with your brushless 4#3 B sometimes? I read in another forum/thread that the brushed tail motor gets...

Help me choose : 4#3B brushless OR Hirobo Quark?

I have had my 4#3B for about two months now, and I am tired of replacing the main motor with a new one every 5 days. I fly it everyday before and after work. I am comfortable with it. I am an...

RE: New but learning fast. Ready to move up??

I highly recommend you getting the Hirobo SRB Quark after you have mastered the XRB. The CP 400 is a collective pitch heli, which is a big jump from the XRB. The Quark is a fixed pitch heli. It is...

RE: 4#3b first aid kit - advice on what to put in it

A paper clip or a tiny pushrod can be a substitute for the knighthead pin. Many online stores do not carry that part. I got my 4#3 B last month. I have had a blast with it, no major crash, just a...

RE: Walkera 4-3b...I GIVE UP

Stoltz> I have both mCX and 4#3 B. The mCX is easy to fly, but you will get bored with it as you get better. It is nothing more than a flying toy compared to the 4#3B. If you know how to fly the...

RE: Blade mCX or Walkera 4#3B

Negativelocity< If you are new to R/C helicopters, you should stay away from the walkera 4 #3 B and the mini spark. They look the same. They are fun to fly for those who have some experience, but...

RE: What comes after Blade mCX

I fly both nitro and electric planes. The mcx was my first heli, and I really enjoy it. It taught me the basic heli maneuvers. Then, an experienced heli pilot at our glow field recommended me ...
