RE: Midwest Citabria wing incidence

I got an e-mail back from Midwest. They measured off the plans and said it looked like +1 for the wing and 0 for the stab.

RE: Pics of My FLying Cow :-)

I think you need to move your battery forward. If it is tail heavy it will be pitch sensetive and climb when inverted.

Midwest Citabria wing incidence

I can't find the wing incidence on the plans. Does anyone know the wing vs horz stab incidence? I wrote SIG without thinking and they said their kit is 1 deg for the wing and 0 deg for the stab. I...

RE: R/C Combat Event -- Battle Over Bloomfield IV

I'm interested into getting into combat flying and live outside of Boston. I thought SSC was the way to go, but this looks like the only event in NE this year and SSC isn't included. Any...

RE: Anyone have TT 3D Spirit ARF

What everyone else has said is true. Flies great, hinges are crap, landing gear is weak. The entire plane is weak, which is what makes it so light. I really like mine. You didn't say how...

RE: Need engine advice

Sell the engine on ebay and buy a Magnum 46, my favorite, but the Thunder Tiger 46 is also very good. Both of these engines with a $15 muffler can become very good engines for 3D flying, which I...

RE: OK Whos got it?? Giant Scale Planes Baby Cap 3D??

I have it and will sell it to you. It fly really nice, but it doesn't 3D very well, too heavy for the amount of wing area. Don't get me wrong it floats in nice and slow for landings, but tends to...

RE: GP CAP 580 OWNERS

at that weight I'm guessing this is an arobatic plane not a 3D plane, correct?

RE: OMP 65" Yak ARF with Saito 100

I have the Yak and a saito 100 on it. It turns out super light with this combination. I had to add 3 ounces to the nose to get it to balance, so you may want to be prepare to move the battery pack,...

I hate soldering, is it me, the equipment, or atmosphere?

Soldering has always been a pain, so I went out a bought a soldering gun, I think it is 60 watts. It is made by Weller. The soldering iron stick I have is also from Weller. I tried to solder the...

single conversion receivers

I have a cirrus single conversion receiver that gets hit at my local park, flying my 3d electric plane. Should I just expect this from an inexpensive receiver or is it setup wrong? Would going to a...

Well it is good to know that my order didn't get lost, but when you guys are out of stock you should let the customers know and you shouldn't charge until something ships. I could have bought them...

RE: Saito 72 glow plugs?

I had the same problem with the saito plug, I switched to OS and my glow starter fits. I guess it is just a weird size plug

RE: First flight on Katana GS 40 ARF

I have used both landing gear. The aluminum one bends the Tetherite breaks. Now this only happens on windy days when you get a sudden down draft. Normal landings have been no problem with either...

RE: What is the best kept engine secret in RC?

Tower Hobbies Muffler for Magnum, TT, or OS 46. $15 now that is a great bargain for more power and better transition.

RE: a first profile?

Unless you are familiar with biplanes I would go with something else. Biplanes have a big disorientation effect. I have OMPs 65" yak with a saito 100. It flies great, hovers almost hands off. ...

good profile for TT 36?

Best I can think of is to get an OMP yak and built it very light, using light servos in the tail to balance the motor, but even then not sure I can get it down to 3.5 lbs.

RE: 3D buddy would be a lot more interesting if

3D buddy would be a lot more interesting if

I could use my own motor and controller. If you can get that option from your supplier I'm sure I am not the only one. Thanks
