I am not familiar with the rare bear hinge style but looking at your pics of the left rear stab hinges draws some concern. I see only a small amount of wood pulled off of one hinge. none on the other...

So it's now 4 gallons of fuel through the Yak. Status update is good. Landing gear fine. fusalege is fine. wings on the other hand need to be monitored.. I had the trim covering come part way off...

now you are starting to understand. Breaking in, (rich) burble more oil and fuel. expansion rates (friction). Seating, less friction= fuel leaner no burble. Now you can see the process.
